Are Sharks Dangerous?

Are Sharks Dangerous?

Sharks

‘ large size and pointed teeth make them look scary. But most sharks aren’t interested in people. They’d rather eat seals or fish. A few, like the great white shark, may bite if they feel threatened.

Still, don’t lose sleep over it. When you’re swimming or surfing, the chance of running into a shark is tiny. And sharks themselves are the ones in trouble, from things like pollution and overfishing.

So treat their home with some respect. It’s also smart to be careful in the water, especially where sharks are known to be around. That way everyone stays safe.
