You do not need to swim, and you do not need any experience. FlyingFish Scuba School trains at Novotel Goa Resort & Spa, Candolim, and dives at Grande Island, where Goa’s main dive sites are.
Your day starts in the pool. Your instructor shows you how to breathe from the regulator, clear water from your mask and stay calm underwater. When you feel ready, you take the boat to the island. The same instructor dives with you and stays beside you for the whole dive.
DIP (20 minutes) is a short first dive at Suzy’s Wreck. Choose it if you feel nervous or just want to try. DIVE (40 minutes) gives you twice the time on the wreck, and most people pick it. DOUBLE DIP gives you two 20-minute dives, the wreck and then Coral Garden, with wetsuit and an edited reel included. DOUBLE DIVE gives you two 40-minute dives, with wetsuit, reel and a buffet dinner at Novotel included.
Want a certificate? On the Double packages you can add the SSI Basic Diver certificate, which records your dives with SSI, the international training agency.
Dolphins are often seen on the way out. Between dives you can snorkel and paddle board on your own (self-guided, with surface safety staff on watch). Snacks, fruit and juice from Novotel are served on board. We film every dive in HD, and every diver has ₹1 million boat-ride insurance.
Yes. Add your divers, then choose "Different package for each diver". One person can take the 40-minute DIVE while another takes the 20-minute DIP. Everyone goes on the same boat, and divers with one dive can snorkel on their own during the second dive.
Yes. Add a boat ride guest in the booking card for ₹1,980 + GST. The guest joins the same boat and gets everything except the dive: self-guided snorkeling and paddle boarding, dolphin spotting, snacks and juice from Novotel, HD photos and videos, and boat-ride insurance. A guest needs no medical check and counts towards the group discount. A boat ride guest is booked together with at least one diver.

DIP (₹2,970) is a 20-minute dive at Suzy's Wreck, the cheapest way to try scuba. DIVE (₹4,950) gives you 40 minutes at the same wreck. DOUBLE DIP (₹6,930) is two 20-minute dives, wreck and Coral Garden, with wetsuit and edited reel included. DOUBLE DIVE (₹8,910) is two 40-minute dives with wetsuit, reel, a buffet dinner at Novotel and a FlyingFish T-shirt. The buffet dinner and the T-shirt are free with DOUBLE DIVE. You can add them to any other package: dinner for ₹780, T-shirt for ₹490. GST is extra on all packages.
You practise every skill in the pool before the ocean dive. In the sea, one instructor looks after only you, stays within arm's reach, and the maximum depth is 40 feet (12 m). Every diver also completes a medical questionnaire before diving.
No swimming skills are required. You start in the pool with your instructor, and your instructor stays with you 1:1 for the whole ocean dive.
Yes, with the Double Dip or Double Dive. Add the SSI Basic Diver certificate for ₹590. It is not available with the single-dive DIP or DIVE packages.
Up to 40 feet (about 12 m). Suzy's Wreck sits at 10 to 12 m and Coral Garden at 6 to 10 m. Your instructor sets the depth to suit you.

Yes. Groups of 5 people get 5% off, 6 get 6% off, and so on up to 20% off for 20 or more. Boat ride guests count in the group. Groups of 5 or more also get the edited reel free.
Every diver answers 10 Yes/No medical questions when booking. Most people answer No to all and need nothing more. If an answer shows that a doctor should check you first, you can still book: message us on WhatsApp and we help you find a dive doctor. Bring the signed certificate before your pool session.
Divers must be 10 years or older. Children under 10 cannot dive, and the booking asks you to confirm every diver's age. Children from 10 years dive 1:1 with an instructor and need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
If the sea is not safe on your date, we move your dive to another day free of charge.
