This bundle is for divers who want PADI training plus a practical edge straight away: the Enriched Air Nitrox specialty. In 4–5 days at Grand Island, Goa, you complete the full PADI Open Water course and leave with two PADI certifications, qualified to dive to 18 metres on both standard air and enriched air Nitrox.
The PADI Open Water course includes digital knowledge development sessions (available before you arrive), 5 confined water skill dives in shallow conditions, and 4 open water certification dives at Grand Island. You learn buoyancy control, underwater communication, equipment management, and emergency procedures. Your PADI card is issued digitally and valid for life.
This is one of PADI’s most popular first specialties. You complete a knowledge review on oxygen exposure and EANx dive planning, then use nitrox cylinders on your open water dives. The payoff is immediate: longer no-decompression limits on every dive once you are certified. Most dive centres in Goa, Thailand, and the Maldives stock Nitrox tanks.
Learning Nitrox alongside Open Water means EANx dive planning becomes a normal part of how you dive, rather than something you bolt on later. By the time you finish Open Water, you are already comfortable using nitrox tanks and planning for longer bottom times. Booking the two separately costs a fair bit more; this bundle gives you both at a combined rate.
