Zero to Advanced diver in one Goa trip

Most people spend two separate holidays getting their Open Water and Advanced certifications. This package lets you do both in a single 5–7 day trip to Grand Island, Goa. Twelve dives, two internationally recognised certifications, and you leave qualified to dive to 30 metres anywhere in the world.

The two courses in this package

The Open Water Diver course covers four certification dives, buoyancy fundamentals, underwater navigation, equipment setup, and dive planning. These are your first ocean dives, right here at Grand Island. The Advanced Adventurer course builds on that with 6 adventure dives, including deep diving to 30m, peak performance buoyancy, underwater navigation, and two dives of your choice from night, drift, or underwater photography.

Dive sites at Grand Island

Grand Island sits 10 km off the Goa coast, with visibility often over 10 metres. Your 12 dives span Cathedral Rock (soft coral walls), Suzy’s Wreck, Bounty Bay, and Sea Rock across morning and afternoon sessions.

Open Water certifies you to 18 metres. After completing the Advanced course including the deep dive, you are qualified to dive to 30 metres with a buddy worldwide.

Yes, but bundling saves significantly. Doing them back-to-back also means your Open Water skills are fresh when you start Advanced, which makes learning easier and faster.

You must be at least 15 years old for full Advanced certification. Juniors (10u201314) can complete a junior version certified to 18 metres.
