You’ll learn how waves, tides, and currents are formed and how to adapt to them safely—making your dives more confident, enjoyable, and environmentally aware.
Upon successful completion, you’ll earn the SSI Waves, Tides, and Currents Specialty Certification, available digitally on the MySSI app. This globally recognized certification highlights your ability to plan and dive safely in dynamic water environments.

Field Activities: Includes snorkel and all dive equipment
Snacks & Beverages: Complimentary snacks, lemonade, and fruits during the session

Minimum Age: 10 years old
Certification Prerequisite: Open Water Diver
Duration: 1 day / 2 dives
Both divers and non-divers are welcome—non-divers can join snorkeling or eco-tour sessions focusing on recognizing and adapting to changing water conditions.
