For those who envision diving as more than a hobby, perhaps even a career, the SSI Road to Divemaster Bundle offers a structured and comprehensive route to the first professional level in recreational diving – becoming a DiveMaster. This isn’t just one course, but a carefully curated package designed to forge highly skilled, knowledgeable, and responsible dive leaders.

Central to this bundle are the indispensable Diver Stress and Rescue and React Right programs. The Stress and Rescue course teaches accident prevention, problem recognition, and emergency management techniques – how to help yourself and other divers in distress, from dealing with fatigue or panic to executing complex rescue scenarios. React Right complements this with vital First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen Administration training, preparing you to act effectively in any emergency, dive-related or not.

Beyond rescue skills, the Road to DiveMaster bundle encompasses advanced dive theory (physics, physiology, decompression theory, equipment), watermanship skills pushed to a higher standard, and practical leadership training. You’ll learn how to manage dive logistics, conduct dive briefings, map dive sites, guide certified divers underwater, and effectively assist SSI Instructors during training courses. For most aspiring underwater explorers, the journey begins with the SSI Open Water Diver course. This globally recognized certification equips you with the fundamental knowledge, essential skills, and crucial confidence needed to dive safely and independently with a buddy.

The program includes three key learning phases:
