SSI Advanced Adventurer

The SSI Advanced Adventurer Program allows divers to experience five open water dives from five different SSI Specialty programs — all without committing to a full specialty. It’s ideal for certified divers who want to explore different types of diving, improve their skills, and discover which areas of diving excite them the most. Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification, though it doesn’t count toward Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) recognition unless you later complete full specialty courses.

Under the supervision of an SSI Professional, you’ll take part in dives from exciting specialties such as:

Boat Diving – Learn techniques for safe entries and exits from dive boats.

Deep Diving – Experience dives beyond 18 meters with proper planning and safety.

Dry Suit Diving – Stay warm and dry while exploring cooler waters.

Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) – Dive with reduced nitrogen for longer bottom times.

Navigation – Master compass and natural navigation techniques underwater.

Additional adventure options may include Wreck Diving, Night & Limited Visibility, Perfect Buoyancy, Photo & Video, Waves & Currents, and more — based on your interests and local conditions.

Inclusions:

Full scuba equipment rental (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tanks, and weights)

Confined water dives for skill practice

Five open water dives guided by certified SSI professionals

Optional professional photo and video services (available at an extra cost)

Exclusions:

Optional activities not listed in the package

Damage or loss of rental equipment beyond normal wear

Emergency medical services beyond basic first aid
