Membership terms

1. Who runs it. The Dive Club is run by FlyingFish Scuba School, Novotel Goa Resort & Spa, Candolim, Goa 403515 ("FlyingFish").
2. Memberships and prices. Certified membership: ₹19,800 + 18% GST (₹23,364). Starter membership, for divers without a certification card: ₹29,700 + 18% GST (₹35,046). You pay the full amount online when you join.
3. What is included. Unlimited dives at FlyingFish, Candolim, during your membership, including scuba gear and the boat ride. There are no add-on charges for these dives. Membership dives are not subject to availability once FlyingFish confirms your booking.
4. What is not included. Scuba courses and certifications, dives with other operators or at other locations, food and drinks, and travel to the dive centre.
5. Starter members dive with a FlyingFish instructor on every dive, as required by dive-training standards.
6. How long it lasts. Your membership starts when you finish the last sign-up step and lasts for 365 days of diving season. The off-season, 1 June to 30 September, does not count: the clock pauses then and starts again on 1 October.
7. Booking. Book in your member dashboard or on WhatsApp, from the next day up to 60 days ahead. You can hold up to 4 upcoming dives at a time. FlyingFish confirms each booking.
8. Cancelling. You can cancel a booked dive at no charge up to 24 hours before the boat time.
9. No-shows. If you book a dive and do not take it, and you did not cancel in time, FlyingFish charges ₹990 + GST (₹1,168.20). You get a payment link. You can book your next dive once it is paid.
10. Safety cancellations. FlyingFish may cancel or change a dive because of sea conditions, weather or safety. This is never charged as a no-show.
11. Fitness to dive. You must answer the medical questions truthfully. If you answer "yes" to any, you need a diver medical form signed by a doctor before you dive. FlyingFish may refuse a dive if it is not safe for you.
12. Non-transferable. The membership is for one person only and is linked to the photo ID you upload. Bring the same ID when you dive. It cannot be shared, sold or transferred.
13. Your data. FlyingFish stores your name, contact details, date of birth, photo ID, certification card, health answers and signature to run your membership. Documents are encrypted and only FlyingFish staff can open them. Each access is logged. You can ask us to delete your documents when your membership ends by writing to hello@flyingfish.in.
14. Community. Members must follow FlyingFish Scuba School on Instagram (@flyingfishscuba) and join the FlyingFish WhatsApp Channel to keep their membership active.
15. Refunds. To be confirmed by FlyingFish.
16. Changes. FlyingFish may update these terms. Changes do not reduce the dives already included in a paid membership.
